Horrible Cloudless days in Chennai

Every year, during the summer time in chennai i use to hear from people or even i personally feel that this summer heat is unbearable compared to last summer. Some few years back it would be like only during the 'Agni Natchathiram' days the temperature would reach the peak. Then it slides down. But now i feel the whole summer from April to July looks like 'Agni Natchathiram' days.

To me its unbearable. The blistering sun seems to be violent to us. I get drenched if i walk for just five minutes in the radiant sunlight. Sometimes my heart beat increases because of the sweat. I could sense i get more anger without any fair reason. Though i take coconut water whenever possible, i am getting addicted to cool drinks.

Air conditioner has become a mandatory equipment to bye pass the summer.Again this instrument does not come for the free of cost. Air Conditioner has some share in increasing the global warming. If this continues i wonder how chennai (or india i can say) would be after five or six years? What if at one stage the whole place get ablaze when temperature goes out of control.

We as a people must take precarious action to fight against the heat. We must bring a green revolution vehemently. As much possible Air Conditioner must be avoided as it further affects the global warning apart from giving comfort to us. Instead we have many other natural ways of keeping the room cool.

God must save us.

  1. Can you please suggest some nice alternate ways. With buildings all over Chennai, and people fighting to get atleast one home in chennai, do you think we will grow more trees!
